Student publishes natural healing cookbooks
Simona Stepancic, a student at CCNH and Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner, has recently published several cookbooks which focus on foods for natural healing. Her titles include “Food for Arthritis,” “Food for Energy & Mind,” “Food for Menopause,” “Food for Detox,” “Food for Candida,” and “Food for Osteoporosis.”
The books focus “on the raw nutritious super-foods that are available today,” and provide nutritional benefits for every type of illness. Stepancic recommends eating foods such as fresh fruit, vegetables, and sprouts that contain live enzymes, as well as unprocessed and unrefined grains and legumes. In addition, she recommends organically grown, pesticide-free foods grown without synthetic fertilizers or chemicals. Some of the recipes included are “Chickpea Burgers,” “Sea Scallops with Butter,” “Quinoa Risotto with Vegetables,” “Rapini with Garlic,” “Red Lentil Ginger Casserole,” “Avacado-Papaya Pudding,” and “Red Radicchio with Red Kidney Bean Salad,” as well as many, many more. The books are available online at www.WholeImageNutrition.com.
