Graduates conduct health challenge to combat childhood obesity

Clayton College of Natural Health graduates Jacque Miller and Debby Pool, 2006 B.S. in holistic nutrition, 2007 M.S. in holistic nutrition. Miller and Pool are conducting a pilot program in conjunction with the Foothills Sports Medicine Rehab throughout Arizona called the WiL Power Challenge. This non-profit program is designed to combat childhood obesity, poor fitness, and the health problems associated with them. The program consists of three workouts per week, nutritional counseling, and homework and weekend events. Prizes are awarded throughout the program, and participants enjoy a graduation ceremony at the program’s conclusion.
