My grandparents had Victory Gardens during World War II. I think it was easier for them since they lived in a rural area… it would be difficult for Americans living in apartments to grow vegetables in any quantity!
It looks like were all going to have victory gardens soon if the prices down fall back down. It’s a great project for kids and urban gardeners alike. There’s a lot of folks talking about starting gardens.
I remember having a Victory Garden as a kid… Great Idea for a project with my grandkids.
Looks promising, hope I can get my own copy soon.
