Graduate authors “Idiot’s Guide”

Clayton College of Natural Health graduate Frankie Avalon Wolfe recently released “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Being Vegetarian.” She’s also authored “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Reflexology,” “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Herbal Remedies,” and “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Herbal Remedies for Canadians.”

In her latest release, Frankie serves up nearly 100 vegetarian recipes for every meal and occasion, and offers nutritional advice for a balanced meat-free diet. The book also includes ways to find vegetarian options at the grocery store, when dining out, or while traveling. You can find the book online at Amazon.com.

Student to appear on “Martha”

Clayton College of Natural Health student Shellie Goldstein will appear on “Martha” Friday, May 16. Shellie, a licensed acupuncturist, will give Martha Stewart an acupuncture treatment and discuss acupuncture on the show. If you like the piece, you can give feedback through the show’s Web site. Clayton College of Natural Health graduate Alain Braux is executive chef-nutritioniste for People’s Pharmacy, a small chain in Austin, Texas. Alain recently started a line of To Go Chef’s Specials especially designed for clients with Wheat/Gluten and Dairy/Casein allergies, and would like to develop a complete line of allergen-free food products for clients, or create customized menus for such clientele.

Alain also runs A Votre Sante (To Your Health), which helps mostly young customers with ADD/ADHD through proper nutrition and appropriate menus. Following in some of the most reknowned European doctors in nutrition, Alain offers recipes that are healthy (organic and local as much as possible) and hypotoxic.

Clayton College graduate JJ Virgin releases first book

Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to world renowned speakers present cutting edge research on iridology, nutrition, and natural health care. Landi answered an advertisement on CCNH’s Web site for an internship with Dr. Emmitt Miller, author of Deep Healing: The Essence of Mind-Body Medicine and is now working with him editing and writing copy. The Lighter Side of Dark ChocolateClayton College of Natural Health graduate George Rapitis, 2007 M.S. in holistic nutrition. Rapitis’ new book, The Lighter Side of Chocolate: Take It to Heart, sticks up for dark chocolate by exploring the health benefits of the cocoa bean.
